Men that Matter
Irvington, Maryland's Mount Saint Joseph High School--Mount Saint Jo's or simply, the Mount--is a West Baltimore institution. Founded in 1876 by Xaverian Brothers of the Roman Catholic Church, the school's values reflect the Xaverian values of humility, trust, zeal, compassion, and simplicity. The school for boys sought to strengthen a proud and distinct position in the region with clear positioning and coherent messaging.
This campaign, designed by Bill Scharf of Willworks Group and photographed by Robert Burke, expresses the idea that the Mount graduates Men that Matter. These publications were the culmination of a branding exercise that extended this overarching idea into related messages reflecting the school's market distinctions, specifically the influence of Xaverian values, community engagement, inclusive approach to teaching, and track record and legacy.
Tight branding allows us to extend the message coherently across media--online, on video, and in print.
"Established in Baltimore’s Irvington neighborhood in 1876, Mount Saint Joseph remains in and of the community. The school’s diverse population and focus on service and engagement with the world distinguish the school in the city and around the region."
