Accelerating Building Efficiency
The World Resources Institute's Ross Center for Sustainable Cities recently completed a major study on how cities all over the world can dramatically improve energy efficiency. The strategy lays out eight "actions for urban leaders" centered on revising building codes, taking advantage of financial incentives, and touting successes. Summarizing key points from the research, this publication is used to promote conferences, talks, and the research in general. WRI is a major research organization headquartered in Washington, DC.
"Improved building efficiency offers a triple win—economic, environmental and social benefits across a building’s lifecycle."
